1991 | Changed the company name to “ASABA CO.,LTD.” |
1996 | Signed an order contract with the Mint Bureau of the Ministry of Finance for continuous casting machines for gold and silver. |
1997 | Moved the head office from Yaesu, Chuo to Yotsuya, Shinjuku. |
1999 | Established “PCU CO.,LTD.” as a related company. |
2000 | In May, by the completion of the Niigata factory, restarted after the transfer from Higashimatsuyama factory. |
2004 | ISO 9001 certification obtained for copper anode manufacturing and sales division in December. |
2014 | In December, Solar power generation facility "ASABA Mega Solar Country" started operation. |
2019 | In August, Chiaki Kitagawa appointed as Representative Director. |
1962 | Established Asaba Shoji Co., Ltd. with 4 million yen in capital in October. Mitsuyuki Oita was appointed as the representative. |
1964 | Became an agent of Tokai Carbon Co., Ltd. |
1966 | Received first order for development of vertical continuous casting machine and started trial production of ACC anode(phosphorus-containing copper). |
1970 | Expanded Niiza factory and started production of ACC anode balls. |
1971 | Started export of ACC anode to Southeast Asia. |
1973 | Increased capital to 30 million yen. Trade name changed to Asaba Corporation. |
1979 | Higashi Matsuyama factory completed in April, transferred from Niiza factory and started operation. |
1986 | The first ultra-compact continuous casting machine developed by our company is completed and sales are started. |
1987 | Increased capital to 33 million yen and opened Tohoku Sales Office in Sendai in June. |
1988 | As the exclusive overseas distributor for our vertical and horizontal ultra-compact continuous casting machines, we concluded an agreement with U.K.-based Wellman Furnace Ltd. |
